Today my subject is weeds. I say put away that weed killer! Sometimes weeds can look so pretty in the right light. Ok, not all weeds...but some. :)
Have a great day!

Here's a photograph I took last week of some ornamental grass in our front yard landscaping. I love taking pictures of grass, the lines really catch my eye. My grass pics aren't the easiest photos to take since I'm usually laying on the ground trying to get on the right angle but it's usually worth it. :)
I'm calling this one, "Natural Flow" since it feels very 'flowy' to me (for lack of a better word!) Available now on my shop as a print or canvas.

Time for a new week yet again. Today I'm sharing with you an image of some Allium flowers that I took back in Spring of this year. I tell ya, taking pictures of flowers is the best way to learn their names. I NEVER knew these were called "Allium" flowers until I had a need to identify them in my photos. :)
This flower picture is available as a print or canvas on my shop here... "Spring Whisper"

Today I felt like sharing a bold splash of color. It's Friday and I figured you might need a little boost to get you through the day. I love how color can affect our mood and lift us up. Orange is one of those colors that wakes me up and makes me happy.
If you were wondering, this is a sprig of grass from our backyard. I caught it with my camera right before my hubby cut it down with the lawnmower. :)
Have a great weekend!

I took this photo, "Oh Little Bird," back in the Spring while walking through a beautiful garden nearby. This is the closest shot I've ever gotten of a bird. This little guy flew right onto a branch really close to me, thankfully I managed to snap off a few pics before he flew away. I don't know what kind of bird he is, do you?
Have a great day!
Carolyn :)
