How about a little spring today?  I took this photo back in May in a beautiful garden nearby that I like to frequent with my camera.  These gorgeous flowers are called Allium, who knew!  Hope you enjoy this pic.  :)

Time for a new bird shot.  I took this one at the Jersey Shore last month by the bay.  The seagulls were hanging out on the sand picking at something to eat.  I wanted to get some flying pictures but they weren't in the mood.  All I had to do though was invade their personal space a little and bingo, they'd take off.  :)

There's a beautiful garden near my house that I just can't get enough of.  I went there a few weeks ago and they had a TON of these beautiful daisies in bloom.  I think I took a couple hundred pics of them alone!  This is one them I'm calling, "Show Off."

I'm in New Jersey and am feeling a little anxious about Hurricane Irene coming.  :(  Hoping my family and friends all stay safe and no damage is done to their homes.  If you're in it's path, I wish you all the best!

There's nothing I love more than gazing out at the beautiful blue ocean.  The vast wide open space, the moving tides, the smell of the salty sea air....ahhhhhhh.  So relaxing.  

I took this photograph this summer while spending the day at the Jersey shore with my family.  The sky had clouded over but this beautiful glow of light lit up a patch of the ocean.  My mom and my sister and I couldn't stop looking at it, the glow on the water created such an amazing mood.

Here's a photo that I took last winter.  I've been coming back to this picture for several months in my archives. I'd look at it, try and edit it and could never come up with anything I liked.  After giving it a go last week yet again, I finally designed something that I'm happy with.  Of course my edit had to involve the color teal...I'm so smitten with this color.  It's so funny too because I don't have any teal in my home.  When I first started getting into editing photos back in '09, I found myself adding teal to my images over and over again.  It always seems odd to me since I never gravitated toward this color in other areas of my life.  Whatever the reason, I can't seem to get enough of it.
