This photograph is actually from last year but I'm posting it here since it's been unseasonably warm for December.  I'm not saying I want a lot of snow this year but it sure makes a pretty picture.  :)

Here's a new flower photo taken with my awesome Nikon macro lens.  The flower was a beautiful daisy I bought with the intention of taking it's picture.  I added the texture you see here in Photoshop...it's a bit heavier of a texture than I normally like to add to my photos but I thought it fit this image well.  I'm calling this photograph "Flare" because of the way the petals flare out in such a beautiful way.

I can't get enough of bird on wire photographs.  I don't know what it is about them that tickle my fancy.  Maybe it's the fact that they look like they're having a meeting up there on the wires, talking about some real important bird issues.  I also like to think they're watching us from up there going through our hectic lives while they're sitting up there relaxing.  They probably think we all need to slow down a bit.  Whatever the reason, I can't stop clicking that shutter button when I see them.

I shot this new flower picture about a month ago.  The sun was so beautiful in the evening so my Mom and I decided to go on a spur of the moment "photo run."  We drove to the nearby town where I was raised and found these beautiful flowers glowing in the sun in a nursery.  Hope this brings a smile to your day.  :)

Time for a new beach photo!  This one was taken on Long Beach Island, New Jersey (of course)...my favorite beach of all time.  It was a cold and windy when I took this but it was totally worth a few moments of discomfort.  I'll do anything for a new beach pic!  :)
