Daffodil Photography by carolyncochrane.com

Aren't these daffodils pretty?  I captured them last spring in my mother's flower bed.  I just love the yellow centers with the white outer petals.  Hope this brings a little sunshine to your day.  I actually saw daffodils in bloom here in New Jersey already, how exciting!  Spring is on it's way!  :)

This print is now available on my shop here... "A Fresh Start"

Have a great weekend!

Colorful Flower Photography by carolyncochrane.com

Here's another flower photograph I took last spring in a gorgeous garden nearby.  I just love the beautiful mix of color in this flower but I need some help identifying it.  Do you think this is a daisy?  I feel like it looks similar to a daisy but I've never seen these pointy petals on a daisy before.  If you know what it is, please let me know with a comment.  Thanks!  :)

I love daffodils.  They're the first flower to bloom in spring around here and always give me a little feeling of hope after a long cold winter.  This photograph is from last spring.  I snapped it while taking a leisurely walk in my mom's development with my nephews.  I can't wait to see these beautiful flowers again this year.  Come on spring, my camera's ready and waiting!

Spring Floral Photography by carolyncochrane.com

Here's a shot from the spring of 2011 that I just got around to editing.  I'm not totally sure what this tree is, I'm thinking maybe a sand cherry tree?  Anyway, I can't wait to see all of the beautiful blossoms that spring has to offer us this year...so many pretty photo opps.  I'm counting down the months!  :)

Seagulls on Beach Photography by carolyncochrane.com

I really like this new photograph that I took a couple months ago at the Jersey shore.  These seagulls were coming in for a landing and thankfully I snapped the shot right as their wings were spread out.  I think it gives this photo a really neat feeling.  I'm calling it "Journey's End."  Hope it brings a little moment of calm to your day.  I'm really missing the beach this winter so looking at this helps a bit.  :)
