I am beyond thrilled to show you this....the bubble image on the cover of this new book is mine!  Isn't that cool?  The publisher is "Paraclete Press," a christian book company.  They found my bubble photograph on my Flickr stream and thought it would be perfect for the "Fresh Air" title of their new book.  When the book was published, they sent me two copies.  It's the neatest thing to hold a book in my hands with my own image on the cover.  The book is also available on Amazon.com here which makes me a little giddy...ha.  :)

I bought this cute little starfish on Etsy recently to take a picture of it on the beach.  My husband thinks this shot looks too "staged" but I really like it.  I propped the starfish up against my favorite jetty on Long Beach Island in New Jersey...fun, fun.  Hope this new photo brings a little beach vibe into your day today.  :)

Not only did I have fun last week shooting pink dogwoods but also the pretty white dogwood trees as well.  You know I'm a sucker for a big punch of color so the idea of shooting the white dogwoods against a beautiful blue sky had me really excited.  I love the way this one turned out, I love the combination of the blue and white and I also like the delicate look of the branches and blossoms.  I figured "Delicate" was the perfect title for this.

Dogwood trees are my favorite tree that bloom in spring and they are so pretty right now in my neighborhood.  When I was growing up we had a dogwood tree in our backyard that had a couple of big branches that my sister and I used to sit on.  I just loved sitting in the tree when it was in full bloom, I felt like I was in a fairytale.

I hope you're enjoying some pretty blossoming trees this spring!

Sometimes there's nothing I love more than a beautiful cloud-filled sky.  I've been wanting more cloud pics lately because I want to create a set of matching cloud prints for my shop.  We've had such pretty days here in New Jersey so far this Spring so it's given me a good opportunity to work on this project.  It's been fun because I just love gazing out into pretty blue skies filled with big white puffy clouds.  A gal could get some serious dreaming done on days like that.  :)

Hope this new photograph brings you a moment of ease and relaxation to your day.
